At Holy Cross, we love our children. One look around our church will tell you why: the Lord has blessed us with many, many kids! And we're committed to caring for them well. Our goal is that even the youngest among us comes to Encounter, Know, and Show Jesus!
Next Generation
All children at Holy Cross are welcome in the Sunday morning worship service. But for your convenience, nursery is available for children from birth to age three. In the nursery, we show God’s love and tender care and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the children’s comfort.
- Infant nursery. For our babies in arms and crawlers.
- Toddler nursery. For our walkers. Our toddler program includes snack and an age appropriate devotional time.
Our nursery team members are carefully vetted regular attenders who have all passed background checks, and we also use a secure, easy-to-use electronic system for check-in. If you’d like to know more about how seriously we take our children’s safety, you can find our Child Protection Policy here.

We've created our Holy Cross Kids (HCK) program to provide age-appropriate discipleship for our children ages three through ten during our Sunday morning service. HCK meets weekly during the sermon portion of our worship.
- HCKa. For children ages three through Pre-K.
- HCKb. For children from kindergarten through 1st grade.
- HCKc. For children from 2nd through 3rd grade.
- HCKd. For children from 4th through 5th grade.
Each class is currently working through the Gospel Project for Kids, supplemented by our own in-house curriculum for special events. Our teachers are carefully vetted members who have all passed background checks. Our Student Ministry meets during the academic year and is open to all students from 6th though 12th grade. We have two weekly meetings.
- Large Group. For all students. Meets Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm at rotating locations. Game time, snacks, and lesson all included.
- High School Small Group. For all high schoolers. Meets Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the Woodrows’. Dinner provided.
In Large Group the students are taken through a five year curriculum hitting four major themes: the Bible’s Big Story, Theological Basics, Being Human (our series on relationships, ethics, and more), and a Bible Book Study. The High School Small Group is structured like our adult small groups, providing an intimate setting for sermon discussion and honest connection with peers.
