Jesus did not just come to rescue individuals but to also create a new community.
- I'm New Here
- MINISTRY Lanes
- Small Groups
Coming into a new place can be intimidating. One of the questions that we most often receive is, "How can I get involved?" Apart from our weekly worship services we have several other ways to find out more about us, meet other people from the church, and get involved.
1) DISCOVER HOLY CROSS
Discover Holy Cross is a dinner we hold several times a year for all those who are new to the church. In this dinner, hosted by our pastor and his wife, we tell the story of our church, talk about our vision, and just get to know others who probably have the same questions we do. Discover Holy Cross is the first step to becoming a covenant member of Holy Cross.
2) ENGAGE HOLY CROSS
If you've been to our Discover Holy Cross dinner and you would like to learn more about what we believe as a church, what our mission is, and how you can join us on that mission, Engage Holy Cross is for you. Engage is a 8 week group that meets on Sunday morning at 9:00 am and is a prerequisite for covenant membership.
3) GET INVOLVED WITH A SMALL GROUP
Small Groups are a vital part of the ministry of Holy Cross. They are the main context for sharing life, building relationships, and learning how to apply the Gospel to our lives.
What are our ministry lanes?
Our ministry lanes are specific areas in which we seek to love and serve this community and the people who live here. Read about each one and then find out how to get more involved!
LANE 1 - GENERATIONS HOPE
Generations Hope is a ministry to teen moms and their babies. This ministry seeks to reach teen moms by entering their world, modeling the unconditional love of Christ, and encouraging them to become the women and mothers God created them to be.
GenerationsHope, part of our non-profit CityHope, was created to offer whole-life support to these families including group and individual therapy as well as life skills.
Lane 2 - Orphan and Foster Care
Whether it be through adoption, foster care, work with overseas orphanages, or simply supporting those who are called to these ministries, Holy Cross seeks to answer God's call to care for the orphan.
Small Groups at Holy Cross
Small Groups are smaller communities that gather together throughout our area during the week to share our lives and help one another grow in our relationship with Jesus. These groups are truly the place where care, discipleship, and fellowship happen in the church.
Those interested in joining a small group at Holy Cross can get in touch with small group leaders and get more familiar with the communities that exist within our church.
